=== Nethack === . An ASCII dungeon crawl that is easy to win...once you know how to play. (The fun's in the learning.) You can play it on your computer alone, but why do that when you can play it on http://nethack.alt.org/? [[http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/|PuTTY]] is a good Windows client to connect with. . The [[http://nethack.wikia.com|Nethack Wiki]] is a great resource for learning the ins and outs of ascension (and not dying, for that matter). . SteveKillen is currently on his first serious attempt at ascension with a Val Dwa Fem Law. Last save: in Sokoban 3a. Fjear! ...yeah, he died. Closest he's been is maybe a level 11 Barbarian who just started his quest. But Nethack must make room for a new hotness: === Minecraft === http://www.minecraft.net/ Works in Linux with the Sun JVM and a short script. Well worth the €9.99 (~$13.50), even as alpha. Pics you'll find on Google. But why look at images when you can play it yourself? Seeing a tutorial or two on YouTube is recommended tho'. |

Settlers of Catan
Catan's great. I haven't explored the add-ons yet, though.
Carcassonne
A fast-paced tile placement game.
Bridge
More of an intimation of a hint of an inkling of an urge to to learn to play than any concrete desire yet. Anyone up for it?
Canasta
O Canasta, game of my peoples. (Well, my family, anyway.)
