The 2010 Geminids peak the night of December 13th into the morning of the 14th.
The ../StandardCampingList should perhaps be supplemented:
- A real sleeping bag that can withstand actual freezing temperatures
- Many, many more socks and layers of clothes in general
- handwarmers/bootwarmers
- earmuffs/scarf/serious hat

Proposed itinerary
[Steve] Fri. night/early Sat. morning: head up to MD, crash at sister's house in Ellicott City
- Sat. mid-day/Sun. morning: head out to campsite
- Camping Sun-Tues!
- Leave Tues. morning after breakfast and maybe a nap
