Gear
A work in progress. Feel free to add to this.
A note on pack weight: 30 pounds, including water, is a nice goal to shoot for. 40 pounds is heavy, but with a real pack and some determination it's manageable. Consider this when planning what you want to carry for several days in a row.
Gear needed by each of us:
Necessities on any given camping trip:
- Tent (with rain fly AND ground cloth)
- Backpack (to pack in/out)
- Sleeping bag and ground pad (thermarest, etc.)
