Black Mountain

Details are all in the email, but we can list places/activities of interest here. It saves us from the mess of an email thread, at any rate.

The town of Black Mountain: http://www.blackmountain.org/

Old Fort:

Little Switzerland: http://www.littleswitzerlandnc.com/

  • right down the parkway
  • lots of beautiful jewelry shops
  • I think some antiquing

Mount Mitchell: http://www.ncparks.gov/Visit/parks/momi/main.php

  • Mount farking Mitchell (highest peak in North America east of the Mississippi)
  • It has a restaurant up near the top that is top notch, and has no Seinfeld-esque wait vortex (unlike Founding Farmers)
