Alpha 1: The First Game (phil!, vees, ben, emag, cathy, steve)
Mechanics:
- Cathy dislikes the abandonment rules. At a minimum, it should be made very clear that abandoning territories is on.
- Seems like the mountainous territories are still too easy. Maybe a d8 for their defense? (And then d10s for citadels?)
Graphics:
- The lack of visually-defined continents is problematic. (But only for non-Hordes! games.)

Ideas for the future:
- use various races as the player names (Men [possibly divided by nation: Gondor, Rohan, Rangers, ...], Orcs, Uruk-Hai, Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits?).
Mod suggestions:
- Hordes! (1 bonus army for each country surrounded only by your own units)
- Team play, from massively multiplayer (e.g., 8 2-person teams) down to two-person regional starts.
